Wild Trout Man is Dr. Joseph Simons, III. He is the father of three amazing young men. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wilkes University and a Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University. He is an avid outdoorsman who loves fly-fishing, camping, kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, nature photography and writing electronic music and soundtracks on under the name:

He is a conservationist and a champion of cold, clean water. Water is Life. Pristine water that supports native brook trout is his holy water. Conserving this most precious commodity is a cause he holds dear to his heart. Dr Simons serves as President of Eastern Pennsylvania Coalition for Abandon Mine Reclamation (EPCAMR), Vice President of Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association (MSRKA) and Treasurer of Stanley Cooper Chapter Trout Unlimited.

What a pleasure it was today to meet and talk to Wildtroutman in his office while getting an eye examine ! Wow, talk about " don't judge a book by it's cover " ! Just great to share some words about fishing. Live and learn. Maybe bump into him someday on the creek, or stream waters. Regards Paul.
